Congratulations to the champions and finalists in the 2015 Filipek Tennis Tournament. Copper Valley Club was proud to host for the second year, and it was thrilling to see great matches and crowds of tennis fans from throughout the region cheering on the players.
There were many fantastic matches throughout the tournament. The Men C Singles final, though, was perhaps the one that caused the most crowd reaction. It had started at 8 a.m., and by the time the players were nearing the end of a third set tiebreaker at 11 a.m., quite a crowd had gathered to cheer on the players.

Down the stretch, Albertus won their final two regular season matches. This year also marked just the second time in program history that the team finished with a winning percentage higher than .500. In fact, their .571 winning percentage was the best in school history. Albertus Magnus recorded two wins in GNAC play, which tied a program high achieved in 1997 and 1998.

The eight wins in 2019 were a program-best, and the post-season berth in the GNAC Tournament was the first in school history for the men's tennis team. The Falcons closed out the spring campaign with a 2-1 league mark that landed them second in the South Division behind Ramapo. During the spring campaign, Albertus posted a six-game winning streak that included the program's first-ever win over Rutgers-Newark. Following the season, freshman Zak Levine landed a spot on the second team in singles.
